Practice Owner
Suzi Minahan is the owner of Lakeside Animal Hospital. She leads the practice with deep respect for the team, the work, and the families who trust us with their pets.
Suzi and her husband of 20 years, Andy, are parents to two daughters; you may see them around the hospital from time to time.
Suzi has a deep passion for helping pets and their families navigate veterinary care, believing that every member of the family deserves the best. She grew up in veterinary medicine, starting in the kennel, walking dogs, and cleaning cages — before earning her veterinary technician license in college. From there, her career grew into supporting independent practice owners across the country: she helped build the first veterinary group purchasing organization in the U.S., later moved into veterinary diagnostics, and today leads work at CUBEX, developing standards of veterinary care through technology, including automated medication dispensing.
