My background has been grooming for the last 35+ years, so it was an easy transition to enter into veterinary medicine. During my off hours, I like working on projects, building things, and still groom dogs. I have a 125 lb livestock guardian dog named Jethro, a maltese mix named Nova, two cats Peekaboo and Trivet, Larry the canary, Sprite and Elle the budgies, and Gordon the quaker parrot. You can imagine that I stay pretty busy!
